The Catfish Marketing Association consists of catfish farmers from East Mississippi and Alabama that are actively involved in catfish production. The Catfish Marketing Association is managed by nine Managers elected by active catfish producer members. The nine Managers elect a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and a Treasurer.

We at the Catfish Marketing Association serve in the process of communication and knowledge, arguably two of the most important aspects that the catfish industry lacks.  If you are interested in the success of U.S. farm-raised catfish, please feel free to browse our website to learn more or contact us to share information.  We hope you find our information useful and we look forward to hearing from you as well.
 

Our Mission
The purpose of the Catfish Marketing Association is to inform, educate, and share information within the catfish industry, so catfish producers can make decisions that will benefit the entire catfish industry.  The Catfish Marketing Association also strives to build relationships with the catfish processors enabling catfish producers to gain a better knowledge of the entire catfish industry and not just the production of catfish.  The Catfish Marketing Association recognizes and endorses the efforts of The Alabama Catfish Producers, a division of The Alabama Farmers Federation.  All political and regulatory matters that come before the Catfish Marketing Association will be referred to The Alabama Catfish Producers organization.  Our goal is to not stand in the way of any organization that wants to promote U.S. Farm-raised Catfish.
